Hey, and welcome to this Rentibly how-to: fees. We'll build a fee from scratch — a nightly pool-heating charge — decide who keeps the money, have it attach itself to every villa, and see it on a property. Here's what we'll cover — the chapter times are right here, and in your player. Let's get started. Fees are set up once, for your whole account, under Settings,
Pricing rules. Here's the list — cleaning, extra guests, pets, early check-in and more. A switch turns one off everywhere, straight away.
Let's add one: a pool heating charge for our villas. Add Fee. Name it the way guests will read it — Pool Heating. A category, which also decides how it's labelled on the booking sites. The fee type — per night — and the amount: thirty-five dollars. Taxable, so tax is charged on it.
Owner economics: who ends up with the money. The owner receives it, and it shows on their statement — or your company keeps it. And whether your commission applies: not on this one.
Applicability: where it applies. Manual means you attach it property by property, and set the amount for each one. Auto-apply attaches it to every property that matches your conditions — including ones you add later — at the amount you set here. The condition: property type is villa. Done.
Conditions can also be about the booking — the booking source, the season, the length of stay, or the number of guests — and when there are several, all of them must be met. Add Fee — and it's in the list, ready to switch on or off like the others.
Now open a villa — Palisade Heights 9C — and its Fees and Discounts tab. Pool Heating is already there, under auto-applied, at thirty-five dollars a night. Don't want it on this one home? Exclude it here.
Thanks so much for watching! If you're already on Rentibly, open Settings, Pricing rules, and check every fee is set up the way you charge it. And if you're not on Rentibly yet, book a demo call, and we'll show you all of this, live.
