Hey, and welcome to this Rentibly how-to: smart locks and door codes. Let's see how a code reaches the right person, for exactly the right time. Here's what we'll cover — the chapter times are right here, and in your player. Let's get started. Door access, under Settings, Integrations, is where your smart locks live.
Connect a lock account, and guests, cleaners and contractors get codes that start and stop with their booking or their job. These are the lock brands you can connect today — from TTLock and Yale to Schlage, Nuki and igloohome — plus Keyless, for phone-as-a-key access.
How this works explains the whole idea. You connect the account you already have with your lock brand. You attach each lock to a home. Codes are created by hand, or automatically before every arrival. You share them — Rentibly can drop the code into your messages and the guest's portal. And a code simply stops working when the stay ends: nothing to remember, nothing to clean up.
Alerts tell your team when something needs a person: a code that couldn't be created, a battery running low, a lock gone offline, or a lock account that needs signing in again. You choose the battery level and how long a lock can be offline before you hear about it.
Open a brand to see exactly what it supports. igloohome, for example: you sign in with igloohome directly — Rentibly never sees your password. Its codes work without the internet, they're time-limited, and battery and online status come through. Connecting is free; you only pay for locks you attach to a home.
No smart lock yet? You can still record codes. On a property, Facilities has a default door code, and every booking's Guests tab has a Door access card — the code is kept for your messages and the guest portal, and Rentibly never sends it on its own.
Thanks so much for watching! If you're already on Rentibly, open Settings, Integrations, Door access, and connect the lock account you already use. And if you're not on Rentibly yet, book a demo call, and we'll show you all of this, live.
